Opunake Mornings 28/01/2012

Beautiful sky reflections in low tide at Middleton Bay
Towards New Plymouth, quite an active ocean today.
More of the range and mountain base visible just now. The clouds are drawing in.
 Towards Wellington
The clouds draw in around the mountains
 Opunake Main Beach
Wind Vein in a flurry with the gusts this morning.
The good news update for this morning is the diligent black backed gulls that have greeted us every morning in defense of their nest have nearly achieved their goals. The baby bird was up on the paddock and flew back down the cliff face when we approached. So that was a happy thing to witness. Perhaps tomorrow we will be able to photograph it
