Towards New Plymouth - looking rather ominous
A very brief citing of a partial rainbow - lasted long enough to fire 2 frames on the camera
The Taranaki gate has been put back up but the mountain was shy this morning
At the point this morning the waves are running in two directions adjacent to each other
Light rising towards Wellington as the sun reaches above the clouds very briefly
Not enough to persuade the mountain to show herself though
The first and last glimpse of the sun over Opunake Main Beach just before the rain.
By the time we got to the wind vein it was already raining heavily and it was a very sodden walk back home. The delights of Taranaki - part of what I really love.
