It is such a windy morning this morning that i have just used my Iphone to photograph with. Around the actual point the wind was so strong it was almost impossible to walk in some of the gusts. The waves are pretty whipped up in Middleton Bay
In fact all the way towards New Plymouth looks pretty bleak
This photo was hard to get cos of the exposure to the wind. However the cloud cap on the SE of the mountain was beautiful and needed to be recorded

Taken hiding beside a pile of gravel to get some protection - the ranges are clear but the mountain not so
Full force driving into Opunake Main Beach
Basically impossible to get the wind vein today because of the rugged gusts.
