Opunake Mornings 04/04/2012

Well the wind has been building up all night and has got very rugged this morning, expecting to reach 110km/hr. So the dogs and I rugged up and headed off but by the time we got to the far end of Middleton Bay the dogs were not that keen to continue with the wind sandblasting their little faces. So we had a change of route.
Here is the sole photo of Opunake this morning taken from above the boat ramp at Middleton Bay - the wind whipping around the headland and driving the swell up the ramp. Not very nice.
