Beautiful crisp morning today looking down into Middleton Bay

The big swell has bought in lots of giant kelp and deposited it on the sand

 Magic light happening with day break.

Up the coast to New Plymouth

 Now the track has been relaid, the first shot of the mountain is from a slightly different place - spectacular sky today.

Looking back along the new section of track, all the old pipes lined up that were bought in to do the artificial reef - what an eyesore they are.

Local at the lookout enjoying the morning.

Down the coast to Wellington

 Opunake Main Beach just starting to get the light.

Quite still at this stage but a bit of coolness off the mountain.
