Opunake Mornings 14/10/2012

A wild sea this morning pounding into Middleton Bay around 6.30 am
Welcome to the responsible camper group who found shelter in Middleton Bay overnight. No rubbish anywhere to be seen - thanks.
Lot of energy in the ocean today looking up towards New Plymouth
 Sunrise trying to happen.

Looking down towards Wellington
The Mountain and Ranges are busy getting washed - can't make it for the morning photo op.

Amazing waves rolling into Opunake Main Beach this morning

Frantic action for the wind vein it is very windy this morning.

There was an invasion of these little flying life forms
that had settled in a swarm type pattern all over the fronts of two of the visiting campervans to get out of the wind I imagine.
There are thousands of them.

They are even over the doors of the cab.
Quite disturbing if you are inside.
