Walking in the dark mornings under the light of a headlamp what is visible becomes quite defined and restricted. This focus lets me see things differently, things that I would normally walk over without observing. I enjoy this and then when I re-walk the same route when the light has lifted it is like another place. My perceptions of the reality of where I am travelling are so influenced by my visual inputs. It makes the well trodden exciting, new and constantly changing on a micro-level.
