Strands 03/05/2016

I often think of my life as being made up of a whole lot of differing strands - types of activities and interests - some that converge and others that diverge from each other. There is a balancing act in keeping these strands in their relative positions to maintain my life's fabric in a robust, un-fragmented state. Each contributing element needs to be nurtured and kept healthy otherwise the whole entity of my existence takes on the feel and appearance of this shattered stalk. Nothing stays in a coherent unity, any change or impact creates more disintegration. So it is a pivotal thing to remember to feed all the strands of my life, to keep the balance and the integrity vibrant.
