The sea has been restless the last couple of days, busy burying all the kelp that it had previously tossed onto the sand. The council has been busy erecting a sign on the foreshore admonishing people against dumping anything including green waste or domestic waste. It tickled my sense of humour as the ocean dumps and removes vast amounts of stuff continuously from this beach - perhaps the council should have turned the sign around and admonished the ocean. Whatever man has put on the edge of the beach is totally fodder for the ocean. I wonder how long it will be until the sign is move buy the ocean as has happened with most of the signs about the crumbling cliffs above the beach. We as humans are so insignificant in light of the power of nature - thankfully.
