Since I last posted the world has been having a storm as the UK has voted to exit the EU. It has preoccupied my mind as I consider the waves of impact such a shift will have across the globe and what forces will be unleashed as a result. Unlike a natural storm phenomena that does die down, this social and political storm could rage on for years. I feel we are all now in a heightened state of vulnerability and that our world is being redefined by fear and hatred rather than empathy and intelligence. I hope there is enough resilience in the world to hold strong to respectful values that encompass everyone equally.
