Finally this morning I was able to walk without my gloves on - I am taking that as a sign of spring. New tender growth is appearing around the place. Some of it has been shattered by earlier hideous winds but every now and then there is some undamaged new greenery. It sure puts a spring in your step to feel the days getting warmer and longer.
