The sky being a bit sulky now - earlier it turned on the most amazing display of vibrant colour streaks but I was slow getting started so missed my chance to fully engage with it. Lately I've been waking up to the dawn chorus of our birds but it means then I am late to actually be outside to capture true day break. So it must be time to reset my internal clock so I can get out the door earlier. It is lovely to wake to the thrushes and blackbirds however.
