The barrier above Middleton Bay. This carries its marks of time with a great soothing beauty. Dull grey wet day today and it is important to try to see the positive on a day with low light like this. I find I usually feel like curling up in bed and pretending life has temporarily stopped but there is a lot to do and no time to hibernate - tempting though it is. This location is blessed with a fantastically fast passage of climate. Maybe the "gloom" will lift this afternoon.
