Opunake Mornings 25/06/2012

Just after the year's shortest day and just after quarter to eight - Middleton Bay just starting to wake up, very wind blown.

My first walk since being away from fantastic Opunake for over a month - it is good to be home.
Up the coast to New Plymouth pretty wild
Mt Taranaki wrapped up in a veil of water.

 Down the coast to Wellington

It was the polar bear swim yesterday here at Opunake Main Beach - water temperature 14.5C  - brrrrr.

No sign of the mountain or the ranges but here is the sun breaking through the clouds

It is a very low tide this morning

Busy wind vein today.
