Opunake Mornings 29/06/2012

Walking around the other way this morning for a change. This wind vein is having the day off today after all the frantic activity of the past week's high winds.

The start of the day, sunrise on the flanks of Mt Taranaki.

Down into Opunake Main Beach - just starting to receive the light - still low tides and the surf remains quite large here.
 The guardians of the breakwater

Down the coast to Wellington
Great to see the Mountain and the ranges after all the cloud cover for the past week.

Up the coast to New Plymouth - looking and sounding a lot calmer.
 White gold silhouetted.

Middleton Bay looking a little calmer.
