Good morning Middleton Bay, strong winds have whipped up the surf.

Looking up towards New Plymouth where the Bog Works Big Wave International is scheduled for today - looks like it could be good. If it goes I hope everyone has a fantastic and safe day.

 Not much to see of Mt Taranaki and the ranges today but a very interesting light effect in the clouds

A very active windvein in a very frisky wind today - not a breeze but a wind and quite nippy too.
